dear soul, be well...

like the sun that goes behind the mountains
but does not disappear
this is the way of mind when it comes into play
it covers over the beauty of all
it moves about in the alleys of impurity
it is what the sages call the restless way
for it does not stay still
it makes the world appear with what is called
vasanas or impressions that come like reflections
with desires being the fuel to keep the
rising and falling appearances in motion...
pure consciousness though, remains clean, without these vasanas
for this is what gives potential to rising appearance
but remains unaltered in the mix
the sage is the one that has set this to rest
in himself
and does not harbor any movement in his mind
to him,
all is seen as merely shakti and shiv in union
not divided ever
not appearing as two...
thoughts have died away within this stillness that is so
very filled with glory and love and light
this same freedom is in all hearts..
it has not been removed ever as it cannot be
because life comes within it ...
but it does not have any attachment, whether there is
playing out or not ...
this pure consciousness remains detached and serene
always...
this is why Shiva rests still as the ground under Kali's feet
this stillness is like sleepless sleep...
where one is totally awake, yet not involved in the transient play...
it is like a pot containing space that has broken apart
and only space remain...
pure consciousness is pure and boundless like this ..
and the jiva (or separate soul) upon awakening to his true nature
loses all separation in the vastness that is...
this is timeless, continuous without end or beginning ...
without stain or sorrow as there is no personal story remaining ...
this is called atman, brahman, nirvana... total blowing out of mind ...
total and complete... without rising and falling drama...
so much worth every step...
so much worth continuing forward, no matter the cost..
so much worth letting go of the drama
and opening up to what is here as it is ..
this is the beginning....

dear soul, be well.,..

  1. Namaste, beautiful! The words bring to stillness or emptiness. When reading have to take a second to put thoughts together. LOL Thoughts are definitely there just not in order after reading. OM
