in ancient times
the rishis spoke of mountains
and rivers that were
very pure
and to go there would
be greatly auspicious
in those times
there was so much
rich joy
in spiritual seeking
so as to be an honored
way
where the broad stretching
forest
that held such quiet
mystery
and fresh wonder
was the temple
the rocks, trees and
hard earth fresh with
the cycle of life -
the house of worship
this is really so beautiful
and raw to behold
it is what the heart of
seeking is
to find beauty in
this moment
in open eyed wonder
and allow this perfection
to enter in-
leaving the hardened ways
of personal experience behind....
