In this moment - Silence

There was a gate
in the hour of early morning
that sat open

When the soul walked through it
the waters began to change
become more fluid
and life looked so much more open
expansive
as if it was made new and fresh
vibrating with life
the garden was bursting with
green thick leaves that shimmered
when the light bounced off them
the skies were open
the air still and calm
in this moment something was
different
mind had stopped
and a crystal clear silence
emerged like a blanket
that covered all
yet held nothing separate in it
really very amazing
that someone walked through this
gate and that one is now gone
where did that person go?
what a wonder

It happens like this
there are beautiful experiences
of stillness and expansion
that urge the soul onward
and strengthen the will
to continue forward
if the heart can surrender
and allow grace to continue
the beautiful work
of cleaning
and clearing the dust away
so that original mind can shine
which is shanti mind
great peace
sat - chit - ananda

May all continue forward
to the peace that passes all understanding
