waiting for the sun..

then an image of a branch emerged with bright berries
and snow fall...
it was felt that the time was the Christmas season..
the feeling of this was there along with the viewing of a family
in celebration of this time with all the ornaments and way of celebrating
with santa clause and all...
but what was above or separate in a way from the scene and completely
untouched was the light of grace...
it shined in it's splendor untouched by the happenings and it is also saying
that grace is the giver and is not a santa clause type of giver, but a giver that
destroys the shadows ... it also brings about happenings for the soul depending
on karma, but again this is not what one thinks as having to do with a doer ..
just the law of the universe..

also, it was felt that the winter scene was a message of the time of dormancy
for the seed or the soul in a way
where the seed is sitting waiting for the sun
and then a passage came in a poem from heart pointings, "kiss of awareness"

in winter the earth is dry and all is starkly bare
as that which lays dormant
awaits the first kiss of the sun
when it comes, this kiss
it awakens the life that has fallen to sleep
for awhile

  1. Namaste - interesting to see the tie in with Christmas. I like how grace is not a santa clause but destroys the shadows... very nice.

    1. Haha, no but you get this beautiful beach and an ocean. A sound of the ocean is Omm. Sand. Putting toes in the sand. Salty smell in the air. Now I am dreaming of Florida. Om shanti. Thank you.

    2. yes, i absolutely love this and live just a few minutes away, believe me it is savored.. here though, one almost forgets about the seasons as most days feel the same, so i need to go back to Seattle now and again to get the feeling back as the seasons are there in full force and beauty..

  4. Namaste unlike most here. .I don't have an association of a cold snowy winter. ..but the message is not lost. The kiss of the sun waking up the earth is a beautiful simile, I eagerly awaits that kiss...and to know! I will look for the ref. Poem..sounds lovely. Thanks.
