Lotus..

i cannot tell you that what you think you are
is right
not in any way is this right friend
you are like the jewel of the heart
and the lotus that rises above the mud
to bring fragrance and beauty to a land
of sad ways...
you shine like this indeed
but i have said this in many ways have i not?
and this may sound like yet another
so if you believe it and have faith
along with continuing forward
you will be the one that writes poetry that flows
and quenches dry lips and hearts...
that aides in souls to flower...
but this will not be a thing of your doing
it will just flow...
