seeking grace..

the man that has no direct experience with the pure soul
is like the moon at the time of eclipse
he lives unaware of the beauty and deep peace
that will quench his thirst immediately when entered into
for this one to be made aware
he must first be certain that indeed liberation is his desire
and come under the halo of a perfected soul and ask for
truth and light so that his mind may be cleansed of impurities
this seeker, if indeed he is sincere, is made in grace quickly and
his mind and life are turned towards the good with sincere efforts
of putting forth the direction of his Guru
the seeker dedicates his life to the path and moves about in the world
holding close to his heart the light that has been offered
he finds succor in this light and pays attention to it ...
nourishes it with love and care in sincerity and heartfelt desire to be free
the seeker goes about his life as usual, but does not find satisfaction in dreaming and
creating projections, all of which are ego-based and do not serve the soul well
the seeker puts his hope and energies into the path that is to be the foundation of his life
he does not let the mind be the guiding force within, but allows the mantra and words of the Guru
to dispel the wayward energies that cover over stillness...
in this way he makes the journey to the pure soul
a journey that is moved by grace which is
embodied in Guru
