the play goes on

lo friend
the earth does not cling
nor does the glorious tree
that sheds it's leaves in the
time of autumn
the sun knows not your
name and woes of the world
the ocean simply moves
within it's own nature
and the mountain rests
steady, unmoving
against the transient play
the call of the gull
comes from emptiness
and dissolves there again
the seasons are driven
by pure intelligence
the winds blow
the rains fall
the moon shines
the play goes on
whether mind is at
the center or not
the flow of life goes on
without ego
as it always has..

the good death..

the good death is the one that brings eternal life...

and this death is not to be ran from or seen as a haunting taker

of something valuable

it is a true and beautiful friend indeed 

that will wash every drop of sorrow away from your reality

and leave a sparkling clean awareness 

that shines in light

and blesses humanity
by simply being what it is...

life can be a joy

what then is holding you back from the light?
is it that you are in need of what cannot be found right here?
or is it that you desire to be in another way
than what grace has now given?
because really dear one
it is only your perception of the situation that is binding
as you have heard so many times about those ones that have lost so much
and those ones in which the body is twisted and misshapen or ridden
with disease and uncomely to look upon...
yet have you not heard that even in this state, there are some in which
grace shines so very bright thru the external appearance
and have you not heard of the ones that appear to have everything
that money can buy including health and handsomeness...
yet are so very unpleasant to be around and so full of mischief
in heart and mind...
not in any way peaceful at all within themselves...

it is really when there is a loss or crises that will show up what is true within...
is there a true faith and a true peaceful detachment?
or is there a bemoaning of circumstances and a clinging to what has been perceived
as loss?
really it is so very much in mind and nowhere else ...
challenge and a shock can indeed push one to the edge of awakening
as it jars loose the complacent reality if one is open...
or it can calcify unrest and suffering if one sits there and wallows...
but why to wait for a big jarring up of your world?
start now to look deeply ....
because complacency is the worst bed partner...
it keeps one lukewarm and within a sluggish way in which there is no change...
come be alert to your life *as it is* with all its seeming imperfections and
crookedness...
forget about them all and *just be*...
life will become a joy this way....

the wings that will carry you home...

the wings that will carry you home
are to come to life
when you let go
or else there is no lifting off
if there is a holding
on of the world with
its collections and its
comings and goings

the wings will fly
when the heart is purified
by the joy of truth
and the joy of *being*
without adding your
life story to it
then the beautiful feathers
and strong delicate weaving
of the bones can
be cleaned off so as to shine
with beauty and strength

so is the soul to be strengthened
with the imbibing of truth
and light
i cannot tell you otherwise
for this would not be real
and would not be what
will truly help you

may you rise then
and shake this way of being
in the shadows with
thoughts that haunt
and follow you
shake them off and
begin to see what is truly here
that is of another nature
entirely

then the wings will fly
and carry you
home
to yourself
which is pure peace
and joy
without the heaviness
of the world....

Bread of Life

The bread of life is what is eternal

it is what the sages say as being the sustenance

and not to be tossed aside and picked at

it is what is to be your meal

day in and day out

it is the life force that sits in the heart of all

it is the substance of now

it is what is to be eaten in joy

like Christ walked the earth

but was not of it

because he ate of this truth

and became it

though he did not speak lightly about the 

ones that played about with his words

he enjoined the ones that taunted the truth

to come to him 

and find his light

he did not chase them 

they ran from him

because he was light himself

and when set against shadow

there was nothing of substance to hold

this is the commander of all

his word

it makes of itself a perfect whole that 

never wanders from the light

it lives and breathes

what the sages are and what Guru is

not a body or a physical form 

but light that is eternal

speaking the same always

though there may be some  variances or shades of 

presentation 

yet the heart is the same

because truth is ONE and never has been separate

this is spirit

friend it is the hearts message and it rings

of freedom

if you listen

it will begin to live in you

and you in it

would this not be a good thing?

LIFE

What loneliness to seek another
this is so far away from what is here and now
....what is here and now
is LIFE and it needs no one....
