deathless

death is non-existent in the o ne
it is a mere concept created by mind
like all other illusions
there is no such thing within a clear mind
that is free of shadow
what goes is the body
that is a mere appearance within pure awareness
this is all...
it is because you have claimed this body
as your own
that there is suffering...
ego is this way --
making claims and creating a world
that appears to a *me*
keep inquiring what is this *me*
and engage the practices when the story
arises
the shadow (ego) will be laid to rest
eventually
there is no doubt
because it is transient
it will go...
friend,
i will not say any of it is easy
it is not by any means
but please do not let any thought
desire or emotion
dissuade you or pull you away--
do not worry so much about your life and
what is to be lost there
surely it will all go in time...
this is fact
yes?
be true now
live like a one that is without this heavy other nature
be in heart
be free

the seeds of truth...

when is the dawn of freedom to appear?
in winter the seeds lay dormant as pure life
resting in the earth that is to bring nutrients and
rich food to that which waits ...
so also the pure life force is to give nourishment
to the seeds of truth that are planted
in the heart
when placed there with sincerity and desire for
fulfillment...
when resistance is let go of
the mind is purified by grace
there is no lasting benefit in gathering
and collecting knowledge about how things appear
or should be....
this only adds clutter to the search
and what is needed is a clearing away...
the dance of spring never fails to come
with its bright rejoicing of colorful life
and wondrous blossoming of growth...
and after this turn
the glory of summer with life opening
at its fullest...
this is the way of the heart within the journey
it takes time to uncover the purity that rests within
do not place your energy into wondering *when* or *how*
or even more obstructive *what have i done or  not done*...
as this type of bemoaning and pondering are sturdy food
for ego so as to keep it with a fasthold on the soul
just as there is nothing that you do my friend
to make the earth come to life or die away
the rains and winds of grace take care of that...
all one can do is rest in the heart and
engage the practices
letting go completely as to the outcome...
be settled with what is* here or not here* without
clinging to either....
slowly the seeds will sprout inside and come to life
as to overshadow the play of mind
and eventually this energy of mind will dissolve away..
into the pure silence of *IS*....

Bread of Life

The bread of life is what is eternal

it is what the sages say as being the sustenance

and not to be tossed aside and picked at

it is what is to be your meal

day in and day out

it is the life force that sits in the heart of all

it is the substance of now

it is what is to be eaten in joy

like Christ walked the earth

but was not of it

because he ate of this truth

and became it

though he did not speak lightly about the 

ones that played about with his words

he enjoined the ones that taunted the truth

to come to him 

and find his light

he did not chase them 

they ran from him

because he was light himself

and when set against shadow

there was nothing of substance to hold

this is the commander of all

his word

it makes of itself a perfect whole that 

never wanders from the light

it lives and breathes

what the sages are and what Guru is

not a body or a physical form 

but light that is eternal

speaking the same always

though there may be some  variances or shades of 

presentation 

yet the heart is the same

because truth is ONE and never has been separate

this is spirit

friend it is the hearts message and it rings

of freedom

if you listen

it will begin to live in you

and you in it

would this not be a good thing?
