what exists here and now -- Brahman...

what does the sage say about God?

God is synonymous with SELF which is the essence of 

ALL -- there is nothing apart from this essence

or there could be no life...

what does the sage say about *me*?

that it has no separate existence, not now or ever..

the snake will never, ever be the rope --

this means mind can never, ever be real, not for 

an instant

what does the sage say about *you*? 

that there is no such thing in reality

what exists always, always is the absolute 

undivided consciousness

made of sat, chit anand 

*me* and *you* are only superimpositions 

on the one reality 

that is the true reality

the other is but a dream --- an imagining of mind 

a mental trick that allows for the forgetting of the one reality

-- and though it covers over and appears real,

it is not -- it is only emptiness with no power in itself

what does the sage say about youth and old age? 

that it is of the body which is made up of elements 

and impurities.. it is made up of parts: arms, legs, head, torso,

feet, belly, thighs and so forth that are like anything else in nature 

which intrinsically decays and will pass away
 -- these parts can never, ever be the absolute
which cannot be parted out or pointed to,

nor can it rise or fall, nor can it pass away -- it is a mistake to identify

with that which decays
as the truth is we are always and eternally ONE,

undivided in nature, pure beingness, of the nature of Brahman which is ALL

what does the sage say about practice?

that it is not to be looked at as being apart from the practitioner

or turned into mechanical action or to turned into devotion that is dualistic

in nature, but to be centered in the heart and quietude
allowing the sense of duality to fall away….

what does the sage say about the world? 

that it is not separate from the absolute --- it is one with God and one 

with all -- 

what does the sage say about the body?

that it is to be detached from -- it has no knowledge within it, it is 

insentient and is not to be nourished with thoughts that tethers the mind to it …

without this type of detachment the mind will be ridden with fear and concern

about so many things that bring on a feeling of duality ---

what does the sage say about thought?

that it is the source of confusion, doubt, imaginings and the full host of 

suffering for the soul -- there is nothing else that brings suffering … 

and with this said, all thought is to be removed by following guidance given
by Guru and steadfastly abiding in the heart/quietude/practices without
being lost in the mental shifting states….
what does the sage say about Brahman?

that it is the one, undivided essence or substratum of all seen and unseen

it is made of knowledge only and nothing else 

knowledge is the non-dual source of all 

it is not knowledge *of* something as the mind thinks, but pure, undiluted reality

that has no separation within it, it has no conceptualization or imaginings in it
whatsoever….

consciousness is what Brahman is made of  which is the SAME in all ---
consciousness is what you and me are made of which is the SAME in all--
consciousness is what here and there is made of which is the SAME in all
consciousness is ALL….
this is Brahman…
the playing out of mind loses itself to this essence that is Brahman
it dies away there and then Brahaman is revealed as that which has always been
behind the playing out and sense of division…
this is Brahman
ONE, eternal -- complete, without parts, without affliction, doubt or burden…
ONE always -- Brahman
what does the sage say about non-duality

as the wave has always been water and never can it be anything in between --

this is non-duality ----- all has and always has been ONE without exception, everywhere 

and always ----  ONE 

fresh air of truth

the nature of reality
is what remains as light
when the coverings that are attached to
dissolve
this is what the sages speak of
it is not like a truth that is to come to
a particular individual
not at all
it is like a truth that is open and vast
and within universal knowledge
that has no personhood within it
like the sun above the play of the world
it is like this
if one is to be within this glory
it is said to go forward like a man that is
felt to be drowning and
to take a breath is the only way to feel life again
the breath is the fresh air of non-dual reality
there is nothing comparable that will bring peace and joy
nothing can be anything close to this peace
because there is nothing *other* within it
it is the *ground* of being
it is uncreated, indivisible, not tainted, not able to be destroyed
it is the true nature of all things seen and the true nature
of that which is unseen
the two are one in truth
the two are one in reality
a man that is not aware of this is in the dark
to this precious gem of knowledge
he is not aware of it
but still he *is* this reality
though he thinks differently about himself
and feels he is of another nature
by holding attachments to that which is seen,
heard and experienced
he is still this reality within the heart always
he cannot be otherwise
but must come to know it by making efforts
yet his efforts will be destroyed in the fires eventually
like the stick that stirs the fire
and is burnt away in the end
leaving only that which *is*
leaving the fullness of life
in it's purity

how are things in your world..

can you tell me of your world?

does it sing of flowing pure waters

and sweet mother of the universe? 

or is it a quick rushing stream of thought and grasping?

what is it friend and how are you? 

i have wanted to know you as your free self

not as a one that is hidden in a world of misgivings

i have wanted to know you as a one of joy, love and light 

as a peaceful presence that seeks no other to be whole

i have not been away from here or set out to find you

for you are here as i am 

free and in yourself as a precious light of all

you are a never ending pure life flow 

this is the way of all that are living 

can you find me here as i am? 

not away from life 

but as a bird of night that flies free over the world of unrest

as a mighty torrent of clean water that runs unencumbered and joyful

can you find me here friend of the heart?

as i am what you are 

existence, consciousness and bliss

no-one at all

full and complete

here ...

Bread of Life

The bread of life is what is eternal

it is what the sages say as being the sustenance

and not to be tossed aside and picked at

it is what is to be your meal

day in and day out

it is the life force that sits in the heart of all

it is the substance of now

it is what is to be eaten in joy

like Christ walked the earth

but was not of it

because he ate of this truth

and became it

though he did not speak lightly about the 

ones that played about with his words

he enjoined the ones that taunted the truth

to come to him 

and find his light

he did not chase them 

they ran from him

because he was light himself

and when set against shadow

there was nothing of substance to hold

this is the commander of all

his word

it makes of itself a perfect whole that 

never wanders from the light

it lives and breathes

what the sages are and what Guru is

not a body or a physical form 

but light that is eternal

speaking the same always

though there may be some  variances or shades of 

presentation 

yet the heart is the same

because truth is ONE and never has been separate

this is spirit

friend it is the hearts message and it rings

of freedom

if you listen

it will begin to live in you

and you in it

would this not be a good thing?
