glorious green pastures and

this is the truth of spirit
in its essence and undying freedom

that can touch the souls purity at its core
no hand, sword, act or tongue...

as a mighty flock of innocent flowing life

have you heard this heralded in the wind
and brought to your face and form in the
warmth of the suns rays melting
have you felt this truth dropped like a
soft velvet blanket at night fall
and encountered its greeting in the warm breath
right before sleep
and in the beautiful appearance that meet the eyes
with the dawn

the gayatri mantra implores grace to move the
mind in the direction of light and wisdom ...
may it be so

have you seen the sky today
in its beautiful glory
have you smelled the lovely flowers
and sat by the cool flowing river
have you watched in wonder
at the shifting states of beauty
that have come to your eyes and ears
night is drawing near
and enveloping the day glow
within the fading light..
is your love growing as a glorious tree
in the fullness of summer
making you to forget your
little world of cares...
and as the head rests on the pillow
is your heart focused within
the blessings that are
here and now
a most sweet peace
melting in

pure
undiluted truth
so glorious
so sweet

that it melts the souls that walk by

and they cannot say what they came to say

if they are sincere and honest in heart

when they speak, it is to say thank you

for showing me what is true and right

thank you for showing me the way out

of my locked cage

i will go renewed and drink of the waters

that are pure 

i will be something that rises in beauty

like the sun

i will smell like the sweet earth

and put to my lips only words that bring joy 

and revive hearts that ache

dear Guru of my heart
when i was caught in the net of the false

you came and pulled me away

you pointed out another shore in which to sail 

my boat

you pulled me out of rough waters when i was stuck

you washed the sorrow of separation from my soul

you blessed me with your wisdom

that came from the path of your suffering

you gave me the pointings and then left me to live

my life

you followed me back when i ran away

you brought me back to the land of the living

where brightness shines again

and non-dual consciousness can flourish

when i had forgotten my true nature

you came

and when you stepped in

this glorious truth was revealed again

because of your presence

it shined again

you loved me well dear Guru

more than my mother

and father

more than any friend or companion

because you lit the light of truth in my heart

This is why 

you have loved me well
