detach

to claim truth is completely wrong

there are none that own it 

there are none that can say it is their personal

reality

this is not right at all

it rings of one in ego and confusion

the ego loves to say it knows

it knows only itself which is ignorance 

it cannot know the light 

not by any means

it is a ray if that 

not the sun 

it dies and is reborn

it comes and goes 

it is moving always 

it jumps here and there 

it cannot be the constant

look deeply friends of heart 

observe this mind as if from afar

observe it in an impersonal way

detach

look deeply

this will begin to loosen this knot 

of attachment to mind and body

the body speaks not

it is silent always 

it makes no claims on anything 

it simply moves according to its nature 

it survives on food 

and if food were gone 

it would perish

it has no knowledge of the real

it has no truth within it 

it is a vehicle of experience 

it gives an opportunity

for the soul to learn

life lessons  

and continue the wheel of karma

or enter liberation

it depends on the desire and focus

of the soul

the action taken in this life

will open some doors 

and close others..
