Rest in the heart

So many ways and roads

in mental wandering

that do not sing of truth

but only change nature 

dying away and 

being reborn

this is not real

that which comes and goes

like this

it is completely unsubstantial

and made of emptiness

not truth

The mind does not have

pure intelligence

or the source

this lasting beauty

rests in the heart

and is not tainted or touched

by transient energies

it is the real

and cannot be otherwise

So journeyer,

do not feed the rising 

energy that calls of *other*

rest in the heart

and find the beauty of your

true nature there

in silence 

and joy
