peaceful sage

be he quiet dwelling in a cave
or out in the world giving satsang
the consciousness is the same
within stillness and beauty always
be he dressed in garments of great wealth
or clothed in robes of a sannyasi
or wearing nothing at all
he dwells eternally as shiva
unattached to outer appearance

his words may be filled with fire
so sharp as to cut like a knife
or quiet and gentle in nature
his body may wear the marks
of shiva on the forehead
he may hold the dandi staff
and be covered in only a loin cloth
he may drink from a gourd
and sit by the dhuni fire
in the lotus position
or he may live amongst
people in the cities
or small towns
he does not know anything but the
absolute
yet his vision is sharp as the eagles eye
he knows all without knowing anything at all
he is majestic like the full moon
and the seas that are deep and beautiful
he is glorious like the sun that shines its light
on the land of the transient
he is equal unto all
he is fearless and filled with light
he will only be truly know by one that
lives within his same consciousness
he is a light to humanity
and all that come near
