Now..

tomorrow is not here
yesterday is gone and will not come back
the present remains as now
this is not a complicated truism
yet how the mind does not want to stay here
and be still
what can be said of this?
but truly the one that continues on to make efforts
will find the jewel of the non-dual
and enter into it and lose the separation
sooner or later ...
this is the truth and the reality
truth will not come to the idly curious...
like looking in a window at a great buffet
and not taking steps in to eat of it ...
so many thoughts about it --
how it may or may not be ...
how i might lose this or gain that ..
how i might *become* this or that and on and on...
so very unfounded and disturbing to the consciousness
to buy into the rubbish that mind kicks up...
see, the still mind are the waters of purity
not soiled by personal experience that has come and gone ...
this is not related to truth even in the slightest...
truth does not come to a *me*...
it is pure consciousness that has no birth or death or sorrow...
if there is a personal spin on it ...
this is not it...
this is why truth is of incomparable beauty
because *nothing* can be set against it ..
or put on it or under it or in between it ...
it will remain forever pure -- unscathed, unblemished
WHOLE, COMPLETE, ONE...
not of this worldly realm in terms of perishing and coming back into being ...
the mind is so used to gaining something by effort...
this is not truth...
truth cannot be *won* or *gained* in the way of adding to
one's stock of good and bad..
and right and wrong within ...
there are no checks and balances with it ...
it is completely balanced already ...

ego so much desires to feel it has a part in bringing reality
or the eternal into being
it does not -- not in any way shape or form...
truth remains whether ego is the center or not ..
it is here and will be always here ...
as sat chit ananda...

  1. Namaste, mind wants knowledge and explanations, only to create more spin in the end. Definitely starting to feel/see it here. Thankful for today's heart pointings . OM
